What are the smallest and largest batch sizes
Carville work with clients from product concept to full production, Carville will manufacture from single unit prototypes to larger volume production runs.
As components produced by Carville can often be used in critical applications, Carville adopt copy exact manufacturing processes at all times. Copy exact ensures that development and prototype parts are produced using the same equipment and methods as would be used for volume production. These methods ensure that parts can be produced repeatability in both development and production quantities while maintaining their suitability for the end application.
Generating machining programmes and setting CNC machine tools requires time and this will impact on the unit part costs when the initial volumes are lower, (1 to 10 pieces). Carville can produce parts in smaller quantities, however, these parts will be at a premium price.
Carville’s typical customer will typically require a few hundred to a few thousand parts per year. The largest production batch produced by Carville has been 250,000 pieces.
