Carville continue to invest in equipment and systems to improve efficiency, accuracy and capacity in manufacturing precision machined plastic parts.
Carville use vacuums to securely hold down and position the plastic plates on fixtures for accurate machining the layers of the manifolds before and after bonding. We have now invested in factory wide vacuum infrastructure from Becker, using four pumps, a smart software system and a network of vacuum pipes connecting to all machines. This removes the need to create vacuums from venturi devices to greatly improve our energy usage.
