Sea Water Sampling
Carville produce a range of plastic manifolds which go to customers in medical and industrial applications. We have produced a bespoke manifold for a sea water sampling application. This clever technology monitors sea water quality and alerts the authorities to any contaminates that are present and could present a danger to fish stocks and sea life.
Liquid Cooled Computer
A customer wanted to build a high speed computer for multiple gaming systems. The challenge for the customer was to keep the electronics cool and prevent the computer from over heating. Carville developed and manufactured a chassis for the liquid computer which allowed the electronics to be submerged and the recirculation coolant to be chilled.
All electronic devices such as mobile phones and laptops produce SAR radiation. The Map SAR device was produced to allow the SAR radiation levels to be monitored and mapped for product safety and approvals. The Map SAR device is used by all of the major mobile phone manufactures.
Nuclear power stations require the ability to inspect inside the fuel rod areas with video cameras. It is necessary to protect the camera while in operation and this done by means of a one piece camera cover. The camera covers are machined from solid and then polished to maintain an even wall thickness throughout.
