Carville are experts in High Precision Plastic CNC Machining, Multi-Layer Diffusion Bonded Manifolds, Microfluidics, Polishing & Heat Treatment of Plastics.  We are a contract manufacturing company supporting our global client base from concept prototypes through to series volume production.

One of our specialist areas is High Accuracy Diffusion Bonding of Acrylic/Plexiglas (PMMA) and Ultem (PEI) to produce multi-layer manifolds and microfluidic devices. These manifolds are used for both fluid & gas applications and are integral in the medical,  diagnostic, life science and food & beverage industry. Multi-layer manifolds can incorporate many features including mixing chambers, reagent reservoirs, capillary action channels and optical analysis windows.

Certificated to ISO 9001 in 1992, Carville are now ISO 9001:2015 certified and experienced in meeting the ISO 13485 requirements of our clients including full trace-ability, reports and CMM data.  We also support unannounced notified bodied audits of our facility and processes for selected customer.  See Delivering Quality for more information.

History

Established in 1928, Carville has built up an unparalleled wealth of experience and has a strong reputation for innovation. This includes pioneering diffusion bonding in the 1960s, the first bonded medical manifold in 1980, microfluidics machining and bonding, high accuracy diffusion bonding and encapsulation of various materials.  We have a high level of expertise in CNC turning and milling with a broad range of state of the art equipment.  See our Timeline for more information.
