How to join Acrylic or Plexiglass

Common techniques to join acrylic would be with the use of solvents or adhesives. It is possible to achieve a strong joint, however, the visual results may not be as desired and joints can suffer from shrinkage or dry back over time.

Carville developed our proprietary diffusion bonding techniques for use with acrylic in the 1960’s. As the business moved more towards the medical sector, these techniques have evolved to achieve greater accuracy for use on medical manifolds and micro-fluidic devices.
